Our Bright Future: Submission on student financial assistance to the PSE Secretariat
As the Post-Secondary Secretariat is continuing its work to recommend a new funding framework for Ontario's post-secondary education sector, students are recommending a wide variety of changes to be made to the student financial assistance system in the province.
The Canadian Federation of Students was formed in 1981 to provide students with an effective and united voice, provincially and nationally. Today, over one-half million students from more than 80 university and college students' unions across Canada belong to the Federation. There are more than 30 Federation member local students' unions in Ontario uniting 300,000 full-time students and part-time.
